Kent came to be the son of Elmer and Jean Wulf April 7, 1967 he was the second child in the Wulf family at that time he had an older sister. Through different means Kent had two more sisters added one older and one younger. So now there were 4 siblings in the Wulf family.
Kent was a graduated of Madras High School in 1985 and shortly afterwards in 1986 he went into the Special Airborne division of the United States Army. While in the Army he married his high school sweetheart Dana Laws on December 30, 1989. Kent also was able to see parts of the world as well as standing guard at the 1988 Olympics. When Kent left the Army his rank was Staff Sergeant. Then from there he took class at COCC in Bend Oregon.
Kent’s interest was in: family, hunting, fishing, camping, target shooting, history and dirt bikes and cars, he had a passion for all of them. As a little child he loved to read about history and have a bank of knowledge of it. Kent grew up with the knowledge of hunting, camping, and fishing because that was also what the family did for vacations and enjoyment. With his friends target shooting was a fun way to get away and forget the worries and just enjoy the sport of aiming and shooting the target. But Kent had a great passion for his dirt bikes and cars. As a child he would play with and build model cars. In his later years he kept those passions alive by racing dirt bikes and cars on the track. During this time he won many trophies and awards. His career was working in auto parts stores and knowing the ins and outs of auto and bike parts so he can pass his love and knowledge to others. In doing this Kent had befriended a lot of people and he had respect for all of them.
Kent’s life in Madras and Metolius was spent sharing all of his passions with his family and friends, his family was his life.
Kent is survived by his wife of 23 years Dana Wulf, his two sons and their wives: Justin and Theresa Wulf, Jonathan Wulf and fianc Sadie Rex, daughter and her husband, Jennifer and James Ihrig. His grandchildren: Melody, Harmony, Rylee, Abby, Royce and Bentley on his way, were the light of his world. His father and mother, Elmer and Jean Wulf; sisters and their husbands, Connie and Jay Wyngarden, DeLynne and Jeff Swanson. Lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. His little sister, Annette Fleshman died in August 2012.
Kent wanted to have his memories to be happy ones not sad ones. He wanted you to remember the funny and loving things that you did with him. Rejoice in the happy times and let his children and grandchildren know all of the enjoyable times you had with him and the things he loved to do.
