Bend’s third annual chicken coop tour will give people a chance to learn more about backyard chickens and the people who keep them on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tour participants can pick up a $10 booklet guiding them from local chicken coop to chicken coop from Cowgirl Cash, the Riverwoods Country Store, High Desert Ranchland Home, Oregon Feed and Pet, Newport Market, or Celebrate the Season.

All proceeds from the event will be given to the Alyce Hatch Center and Healing Reigns.
