Lloyd and Joan Hornbeck, of Redmond, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner in Bend followed by dessert at home.

The couple were married June 11, 1963, in Elko, Nev.

Mr. Hornbeck catered parties at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas until his retirement in 2002. Mrs. Hornbeck worked as a principal broker for a corporate brokerage firm in Las Vegas until her retirement in 2002. The couple are members of Highland Baptist Church in Redmond.

They have lived in Central Oregon for nine years.
