June 30, 1928 – July 10, 2013

Verna went peacefully home to be with The Lord after battling colon cancer for over two years.

She worked for Madras School District 509-J for over 20 years. She was active in Lady Elks and T.O.P.S. Club. She loved, camping, fishing, hunting and playing Bingo. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amandus ( Bud) Miller and two daughters, Phyllis Anne Miller and Margaret Williams.

She is survived by sons, Vernon (Spud) Miller and Glenn Miller; daughters, Diana West, Thelma Waterman and Linda Law; 26 plus grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence, Dutch and Jonnie Scott; and sisters, Florence Shaffer, Ione Hinze, Mert Eckstein and Beverly Jacobs.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Bel-Air Colonial Funeral HomeMadras, with Pastor Darrell Sumner officiating.
