Donna Cole and Darin May, both of Vancouver, Wash., were married June 22 at Fremont Meadow in Shevlin Park in Bend. A reception followed at The Riverhouse Convention Center.

The bride is the daughter of Dorman Hitzfeld, of San Antonio. She is a 1982 graduate of Giddings High School in Giddings, Texas. She works as a administration assistant for Kenway Consultants Inc. in Vancouver, Wash.

The groom is the son of Marvin and Judy May, of Bend, and Ray and Alix Hare, of Beaverton. He is a 1985 graduate of Sunset High School in Beaverton and a graduate of Western Oregon University, where he studied business and marketing. He works as a truck technician for McCoy Freightliners in Portland.

The couple honeymooned with a road/hiking trip through areas of Oregon.

They will settle in Vancouver, Wash.
