April 20, 1925 – August 27, 2013

Myrtle Rose Standfield, 88, of Bend, OR, passed away Friday, August 27, 2013.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Landreth of Gardnerville, NV; brother, Alvin Smith of Duluth, MN; son, Charles Standfield and daughter- in-law, Carolyn Standfield of Williams, OR; son, Erick Erickson of Helena, MT: four granddaughters, Charline Bruce of Bend, OR, Carline Campbell of Lake Stevens, WA, Rebecca Gilbert of Williams, OR, Lori Barin of Bend, OR; nine great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Seago in 2012.

Born April 20, 1925, in Solon Springs, WI, Myrtle and husband, Oliver, moved to Oregon in the late 60s, where she was a waitress for various employers. She retired to Bend from Welches in late 1990s to be close to family.

She was very active and loved traveling. Visiting with family and friends were very important to her.
