A Eugene man was arrested Tuesday evening at the Dunes Motel, Bend, on suspicion of promoting prostitution and rape, according to Bend Police.

Antron Phillips, 31, was booked into the Deschutes County Jail after police responded to a reported dispute at the Dunes Motel on Third Street in Bend. Reports said that Phillips had been arguing with his girlfriend, Sheron Putney, 34, also of Eugene. During an investigation, police allege, they discovered that Phillips induced a 17-year-old girl to have sex with others for a fee. Police also alleged Phillips provided the teen with methamphetamine and had sex with her.

Putney was also taken to the Deschutes County Jail on an active Salem warrant. The juvenile was lodged at Deschutes County Juvenile on an active Jefferson County warrant.
