• Postal Connections, located at 2660 N.E. Highway 20, Suite 610, in Bend, has won the Postal Connections of America 2012-2013 Top Sales award. Franchise owners Pete and Sue Pierce have won the award 10 times since 2002.

• Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has opened a new store in Redmond. The new store, at 732 S.W. Sixth St., is one of 65 new stores planned for 2013.

• Redhawk Network Engineering, of Bend, has merged with Securio Group, a sister company of Advancia Corporation. Redhawk Network Security LLC will be the new operating company’s name.

• Hydro Flask has launched a new website to reinforce the product’s ability to perform in a variety of environments. Hydro Flask has also launched an ambassador program, bringing veteran and professional athletes and craftspeople together as representatives for the company.

• Central Oregon Animal Friends has been awarded a contract by Jefferson County to manage the Jefferson County Kennels in Madras. The kennels will close on Dec. 1 and reopen on Dec. 6 as the Three Rivers Humane Society, and will be located at 1694 S.E. McTaggart Road in Madras.
