Dr. Jack Fishman, 83: Helped develop naloxone, a powerful medication that has saved countless people from fatal overdoses of heroin and other narcotics. Died Dec. 7 in Remsenburg, N.Y.
Allen Rosenberg, 82: A coach whose innovations in rowing technique helped produce Olympic and world champions. In 1961 and 1965, his rowers won three gold medals at the Maccabiah Games in Israel, and in 1975, his U.S. team won two golds at the Pan-American Games. Died Dec. 7 in Silver Spring, Md.
Honey Waldman, 87: A stage producer who teamed with her husband to convert a dilapidated movie house in the Hudson Valley and a bank in the East Village into distinguished theaters. Died Dec. 8 in Manhattan.
