July 12th, 1960 – Dec. 03, 2013 Holly suddenly passed away just days after what had to have been her perfect Thanksgiving in Redmond, OR. Spent among her entire immediate family, it was the first and the last time all her children and grandchildren sat around the same table with her. She was a beautician by trade and ran her own business while also managing a few businesses over the years with her husband. But behind the edifice of all her jobs, she concerned herself with those around her and devoted herself to their wellbeing. She loved God and she loved people. Holly knew that titles in life are meaningless and that the way one leads a life is everything. Through her time spent with people around her home, community, and in her salon chair, she listened and learned of you with intention. She crafted life-long friendships with so many, and devoted her life to help fix what was broken in people around her. She had a childhood dream of running an orphanage one day. She never did that in the state’s eyes, but if you knew her, you would know she found many orphaned hearts and drew them into her home. Getting to know her meant you saw the lovingly mischievous sparkle in her eyes that all at once lifted your spirits and grounded you in self-confidence. She was born in Hillsboro, OR to Lois (Anderson) Killian and the late Donald Anderson both of Cornelius, OR. She considered Forest Grove, OR her hometown and soon after high school moved to Bend, OR to start her own adventure. She raised her family and lived in Redmond, Oregon for the remainder of her life. She is survived by her husband Andy Graham, her children Caleb Van Winkle (wife Jennifer Zimmerman), Curtis Van Winkle (wife Emily Anderson), Hannah Van Winkle (fiance Dustin Bryan), Brandon Visser, and Trystin Graham. Her grandchildren are Jackson, Riley, Kayson, Sawyer, Logan, and Lucas of whom she was very proud. Holly was the youngest child of five and is also survived by her sisters Char Kujala of Hillsboro, OR, Patti Kujala of Cornelius, OR, Eileen Wood of McHenry, IL, and her brother Eric Anderson of Yakima, WA, in addition to many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her dearly. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 3 pm on December 21st, 2013 at the Highland Baptist Church which is located at 3100 SW Highland Ave, Redmond, OR 97756. No matter how well you knew her, your welcome to attend. More details of the service are here: https://www.facebook.com/events/324792380992807/
