• Jennifer Griswold , PNP, has joined the Bend Memorial Clinic Pediatric Department. Griswold, who has more than 15 years of pediatric medicine experience, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Davis and a Masters in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.

• Larry Wright AIA has joined Lenity Architecture in Bend. Wright, founder of Tekneek Architecture, has been designing homes and commercial properties in Central Oregon for more than 16 years.

• Seth Anderson , principal architect at Ambient Architecture, has been elected to serve as extra-territorial director for the Southwestern Oregon American Institute of Architects chapter. Anderson will also represent the chapter as a delegate to AIA Oregon.

• Peter Schrey , DPT, has joined Step and Spine Physical Therapy in Sisters. Schrey will be the third full-time therapist on staff.

• Steve Pappas has joined U.S. Bank as branch manager of the Third Street and Reed Market Road location in Bend. Pappas has 7 years of experience in the financial services industry.

• Dr. Jeff Absalon has joined the KIDS Center board of directors. Absalon is a internal medicine physician and administrator at St. Charles in Bend.

• Rocky Miner has joined the KIDS Center board of directors. Miner, a retired school teacher, has previously been the principal of Crook County Middle School and Crook County High School.

• Ellen Silfven , mortgage sales manager at Umpqua Bank, recently received the Home Lending’s Circle of Excellence award for 2013. Silfven has been with Umpqua Bank for two years and has experience in consumer home lending.

• William Olsen has been appointed to the Oregon State Bar Disciplinary Board as a public member. Olsen will serve a three-year term.

• Kris Rees is the top-selling agent for the month of December at Coldwell Banker Mayfield Realty.

• Larry Bailey is the top listing agent for the month of December at Coldwell Banker Mayfield Realty.

• Tom Van Hemelryck has been named senior vice president and Idaho regional president of Washington Federal Bank. Van Hemelryck previously served as commercial manager and senior vice president at Bank of the Cascades in Bend.
