• David King has joined John L. Scott in Bend as a real estate broker. King previously owned a kayaking business in Washington.
• Oleta Yancey has been appointed to the Government Affairs Committee for Central Oregon Association of Realtors.
• Kathy Gault has been awarded a grant from the National Piano Foundation to attend the recreational music-making training at the Music Teachers National Association conference in Chicago in March.
• Celine Burke has been named Big Sister of the Year for the state of Oregon by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
• Melinda Thomas has been named a shareholder at Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis. Thomas, an attorney at the firm, is also the chairwoman of the Oregon State Bar Litigation Section and on the board of directors for the Deschutes Children’s Foundation.
• Heather Hansen has been named a shareholder at Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis. Hansen, an attorney at the firm, focuses on business, real estate law and employment law.
• Shelley Arnold , realtor at John L. Scott in Bend, has earned the 2013 President’s Award and earned her designation as a certified seller marketing specialist.
• Cliff Feingold has joined Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate as a broker.
