10 Barrel looks to Portland

10 Barrel Brewing Co. plans to open a pub in Portland, co-owner Chris Cox said Tuesday.

“It’s something we’ve been working on a long time,” Cox said.

The brewpub, which is scheduled to open midsummer, will be located in the Pearl District on Northwest 14th Avenue and Flanders Street, according to a news release issued Tuesday afternoon.

Cox said the brewpub will have a brew house on site, too.

This is the brewery’s second expansion outside of Bend. In April 2013, 10 Barrel opened a brewpub in Boise, Idaho.

In addition to opening the Portland brewpub, 10 Barrel is expanding its Bend brewery on Northeast 18th Street to double its capacity.
