Cove Palisades State Park at Lake Billy Chinook invites hikers interested in a new perspective on the park to join a free “almost full moon” night hike May 16.

The hour-long hike will begin at 8:30 p.m. from the Crooked River Campground check-in booth. Guided by a ranger, this easy hike will use all of your senses and hikers will look for bats in the wetlands.
