The Pine Tavern, Bend’s oldest restaurant, is being purchased by Bill McCormick, a co-founder of the national chain of McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants.

McCormick plans to continue operating the restaurant under the name Pine Tavern and make only minor changes to the restaurant and its menu. The Pine Tavern will continue serving its scones.
