Daniel Eby Wilkerson

May 22, 1936 – June 29, 2014 Daniel Eby Wilkerson passed away on June 29, 2014 at Hospice House in Bend.

Dan was born in Martinez, California on May 22, 1936 to Earl L. and Margaret (Eby) Wilkerson. He moved to Nampa, ID at 9 months where he was raised and graduated from Nampa High School in 1955.

In 1957 he married Geral Dean (Geri) Jackson of Nampa. They had two sons, Daniel Eby Wilkerson, Jr. and Randal Dean Wilkerson.

Dan worked in the floor covering business and continued after he and his family moved to Bend, OR in 1966. From 1980 until his retirement in 2005 he was in the towing business.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and, his biggest passion, anything with wheels.

Survivors include his wife, Geri; two sons, Daniel (Dusty) of Sunriver and Randal (Rusty) and his wife Darin of Redmond; two grandsons, Otto and Jett; and two brothers, Richard of Crescent Lake and Robert of Nampa, ID.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Deschutes Memorial Gardens with a celebration of Dan’s life to follow at 4:00 PM at the DRRH Neighbors Club in Sunriver.

Memorial contributions may be made to Partners in Care or to St. Charles Heart and Lung Center.

Deschutes Memorial Chapel is entrusted with Dan’s arrangements.
