Aug. 15: Oregon Adaptive Sports will host an adaptive golf clinic for people with disabilities at Awbrey Glen Golf Club in Bend. Clinic will be taught by Awbrey Glen golf professionals. Clinic is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is open to anyone age 6 or older with a physical or cognitive disability who wants to try golf. Cost is free and is part of a monthly series of clinics through the summer. Volunteers also needed. Aug. 19: Golf clinic held by longtime PGA Tour pro Fred Funk. The clinic will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at Pronghorn Golf Club’s driving range and is open to all skill levels.
