David Brad Hallock (Col. USAF Ret.)

Brad Hallock, the son of Earle and Virginia Lee Hallock, passed away on Aug 7, 2014. Brad was born and raised in Redmond and graduated from Redmond Union High School in 1955.
After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force (USAF) and married his high school sweetheart, Carol Sweet. His first assignment was to Yale University to study Chinese Mandarin prior to serving a 15-month tour in Okinawa. Brad qualified for the Airman Education and Commissioning Program, graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Management in 1962, and received his commission as a second lieutenant.
Brad and family traveled to various locations throughout the world during his 31 year career.
Brad received his MBA from the University of Tennessee in 1968. After an early promotion to Colonel, Brad attended the USAF War College. His last assignment was to Hickham Air Force Base in Hawaii as the Director of Transportation for Pacific Air Forces. After retirement, Brad and Carol moved back to their hometown of Redmond. Brad loved Carol, cars and golf. He will missed greatly by his family and friends.
Brad is survived by Carol, his loving wife of 58 years, their children, Rob Hallock and Robin Perron; his brother, Bill Hallock; his four grandchildren, and his extended family.
