I have never watched “The Sing-Off,” a show on NBC that pits a cappella groups against each other in a singing competition, but I support the show for at least two reasons: 1) Ben Folds, one of the show’s judges, is super cool. And 2) Anything that shines a spotlight on a cappella music is OK by me. Celebrate real voices!

Anyway, the show’s Season Four champs, Home Free, a country vocal band, will perform Thursday night at the Tower Theatre in Bend. Go to their website or YouTube channel and you can hear them cover artists ranging from One Direction to Kenny Chesney, and quite impressively at that.

But don’t fall too deeply in love with their sound unless you already have tickets to Thursday’s show, because it is sold out.
