MKW Auto Sales in La Pine is hosting its first coat drive, Warm Coats For Warm Hearts, through Dec. 5.

The company wants to donate at least 300 coats to La Pine elementary and high schools in order to bring warmth to people in need this holiday season.

New or slightly used coats and winter apparel can be brought to MKW Auto Sales, 52622 U.S. Highway 97 (just north of Les Schwab) in La Pine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday until Dec. 5. An exterior drop box is available Monday and Tuesday and after hours.
