BrightSide Animal Center now offers low-cost microchips.

BrightSide Animal Center is a non-profit organization that finds homes for pets and provides services such as dog-training and discounted veterinary services.

Microchipping used to be offered to customers having their pet spayed or neutered, but now BrightSide is microchipping pets as a single service. No appointment is necessary.

To have your pet microchipped go to BrightSide Animal Center, 1355 NE Hemlock Ave., Redmond, between noon and 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays (except holidays). Cost is $30.
