Ranch near Prineville sells

Prineville ranch sells for $3M

A nearly 700-acre ranch just north of Prineville sold last week for $3 million, brokers announced Thursday.

Coyote Moon Ranch has 521 irrigated acres, said Fay Ranches broker Jerry Hicks, of Prineville, who represented the sellers. Alfalfa, pasture grass and wheat had been grown at the farm most recently, according to the listing information.

The buyers own an organic dairy farm in St. Paul, said Jeff Larkin, principal broker at Jeff Larkin Realty in Redmond. The buyers plan to grow hay at Coyote Moon for their dairy cows, Larkin said.
