Violence: Lots and lots.

Sex: Only referred to.

Drugs: Alcohol.

Parents’ advisory: Entirely too violent for the sensitive or anybody under 16.

“Blackhat”

What it’s about: An imprisoned hacker is released to track down someone who is crashing the stock market and crippling nuclear power plants.

The kid-attractor factor: Chris “Thor” Hemsworth stars.

Violence: Lots and lots, most of it involving firearms.

Language: Some profanity, not a lot.

Parents’ advisory: A brutally violent finale tips this one into hard-R territory, OK for 16-and-up.
