Linda Leon Schaefer passed away September, 26th 2014 at age 64. She was born November 9th, 1949 in Toledo, Oregon where her father was a commercial fisherman.

Her parents, Albert and Rosa Jamison moved to Douglas County, Oregon when she was a teenager where her father joined the logging industry. Linda and her family moved to Alaska in 1976 where they lived for several years before returning to her home state of Oregon.

Though she was retired at the time of her passing, Linda had a love of people and was an in-home health caregiver before her retirement. Linda’s greatest love of all was for her family and her faith in the Lord. She was a gentle and kind soul who will be missed greatly.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Michael Schaefer; and her parents. She is survived by her brother, Terry Jamison; sisters, Vickie Tretton and Angie Vigil; sister-in-law, Kaye Jamison; brothers-in-law, Dennis Tretton and Cody Vigil; nieces and nephews, Schaunee Wilson, Brandon Tretton, Melissa Tretton, Shane Sigfridson, Marshall Looney, Kara Bren and Nikki Jamison as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
