Theresa (Terry) Liccardi Dwyer passed away January 20, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ where she had moved (from Bend) in 2009 to build her dream home. She was born in New York City May 12, 1936. She graduated as valedictorian from Brooks College, later moving to San Francisco to pursue her career in retail merchandising. She rose to the position of Sales Manager for The Emporium Department Store and was also a buyer for Mervyns. She moved to Bend, OR with her husband Dale, where they raised llamas and cattle.

Terry dealt with a lot of discomfort over the years, but more recently in her battle with cancer. She was an extremely positive person who viewed cancer as just a blip on her radar. With trust in her doctors and the treatment, and with amazing strength and ability, she continued to motivate and inspire others. She could get past her pain when she was involved in a project or working her Etsy shop, visiting with her buyers and sharing ideas with other Etsy sellers. Her love of people and outgoing personality contributed to her very successful real estate career in Central Oregon, which she began with the Frank Ruegg Company in the late 80s. When she retired in 2001, she was with Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate.

Theresa is survived by her brothers, Carlo Liccardi of Sag Harbor, NY and Rocco Liccardi of Bridgehampton, NY; two nieces; two great- nieces; one great-nephew; two aunts; and many first cousins. She is also survived by her longtime friend and companion, Stetson Gifford, who resides in Lake Havasu City.

The family requests that donations be made in Theresa’s memory to hospice, to whom they are deeply appreciative for the outstanding care given.

Services were placed in the hands of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Terry’s friends and family members at http://www.lietz -frazefuneralhome.com/obituaries/Theresa-Dwyer.

Terry Dwyer was a fine lady and a great friend, always positive and kind, and her life stories of past and present were always delightful. May she rest know- ing how loved she was by all of her friends in Bend. She will be missed by many from all over the country.
