Nov. 14, 1968 – Mar. 6, 2015Christopher John Aper, the youngest son of John R. Aper and Beverly A. (Hunter) Aper, died March 6, 2015. He grew up in Klamath Falls, lived in Salem/ Keizer, Oregon, for over fifteen years then lived in Bend, Oregon, for seven years and was residing in Klamath Falls upon his passing.Chris was a great father, brother and son. He was a great pianist and singer. He sang with the Mazama Jazz Choir in high school. He was excited to sing with the Portland Opera for one season. He was an avid cyclist and hiker. Hiking Mt. Hood, Mt. Shasta, Smith Rock and the Three Sisters with his Brother, Kurt Aper, and his sons, when they got older. Chris loved God, Family, and Friends.He is survived by his son, Marine Sergeant Andrew Aper; daughter-in-law, Marissa Aper; son, Brendan Aper, his ex-wife and best friend, Kendra Bonetti; his mother, Beverly A. (Hunter) Aper; his brother, Kurt Aper; his sister-in-law, Tori Aper; and many nieces and nephews.He was proceeded in death by his father, John Aper; and brother, Kragh Aper.Memorial Service will be Sat., March 14, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at New Creations Life Center, 240 SW 7th Street, Redmond, OR 97756.Graveside service will be Mon., March 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Deschutes Memorial Gardens, 63875 N Hwy 97, Bend, OR 97701.In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to woundedwarriorproject.org
