Evelyn J. Miller

July 7, 1930 – March 14, 2015

Former longtime Bend resident, Evelyn J. Miller, died early March 14, 2015, at her home in Sandy, Oregon. She was 84 years old.

Evelyn was born the first of six girls in Crosby, North Dakota, raised in Bend, graduated from Bend High School, retired from Pacific Northwest Bell.

She loved to camp, knit, dance and go to the Casino.

Evelyn was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church, Telephone Pioneers and Eagles Club.

Preceding her in death is her mother and father, Bertha and Ray Anderson; sisters, Arlene, Phyllis and Beverly. Surviving sisters, Delores Stills (Culver, Oregon) and Pam Gibson (Bend, Oregon). Also surviving Evelyn is her husband, Del Miller; daughters, Candis Zusin, Terry Summers, Cindy Raburn; and sons, David Smith and Mitch Miller. She has numerous grand and great- grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Salem, Oregon, Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.
