1961 – 2015

Ronald Ron Melvin Proffitt passed away on Monday March 16, 2015 in Bend, OR at the age of 53.

Ron was born on October 27, 1961 in Bozeman, MT to Richard “Dick” and Joan Proffitt. He graduated from Myrtle Point, OR in 1979. He married Susan Strouts, his wife of 30 years.

Ron is survived by his wife, his parents, daughter, Heather Becker, son, Steven and Brianne Strouts; brothers, Richard Proffitt, Ryan Proffitt, sister, Melinda Proffitt; grandchildren; Kaytlin, Justin, Layla, Wyatt and Hattie; great-grandson, Karson.
