Charles Eugene Lueck

Charles Lueck passed away on March 19, 2015 from heart disease. He was 70 years old.

Charles was born to Samuel and Dorothy Lueck. He was born and raised in Albany, OR and graduated from Albany Union High School in 1962.

He married Janet K. Nöel in July 1964 in Bend, OR. He joined the Navy in 1964 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1967.

Janet and Charles built their home and raised their children in Bend, OR. He was an excellent craftsman and countertop maker from 1969 – 2006. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing poker, making custom cribbage boards, enjoying the game, and spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Janet K. (Nöel) Lueck; daughter, Robin (Ken) Borrego; son, Brandon Eugene Lueck; son, Kenton Charles (Shiela) Lueck, all of Bend, OR; brother, Gary Leuck, of Albany, OR; and six granddaughters, Noel, Kyleigh, Katie, Kara, Gracie and Lilly.

An inurnment ceremony with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Deschutes Memorial Gardens in Bend, OR. A celebration of his life will follow from 5 pm – 10 pm at the Bend Senior Center.
