Services for Dallas Thural Schulz, of Bend, will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Foundry Church, 60 NW Oregon Avenue, Bend Oregon at 11:00 am. A reception will be held at the church after the funeral service followed by his burial at Deschutes Memorial Gardens at 1:30 pm.

Survivors include sons Donald Schulz, Richard Humbert and Tim Humbert; daughters Peggy Donnelly, Barbara Gardner and Daura Bowman. He also leaves behind 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. Including his best friend Tom McMillan of Bend (our families special angel).

He is preceded in death by his wife Lois Marie Schulz, a son, Dallas L Schulz; daughters, Patricia Davison and Jacqueline Senter, grandchildren, Tommy and Tamara Warren; his brothers Merle and Vernon Schulz, sisters Darlene Peterson, Donna Schulz and Carol Parker.

Dallas was born in Seward Nebraska and moved to Portland, Oregon and relocated to Bend, OR in 1979. He owned and operated Bend Water Hauling for many years in Central Oregon, was know as the water man and was also a truck mechanic. He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed playing pinochle, garage sales, bowling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dallas was never speechless and you could always count on a story. He truly had a heart of gold and was our hero. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
