Developer to unveil new Bend townhomes

A local developer is unveiling the first two of eight planned townhomes Thursday in southwest Bend, about a half-mile from the Old Mill District.

Listing prices of the first four units on Woodriver Drive near McClellan Road, run from $749,000 to $789,000, said John Shaw, a partner with Ryan Duble, of R.D. Building & Development LLC, Bend, , the developer and general contractor.

Plans for Wood River Ridge call for four duplexes, with individual units ranging from 2,189 square feet to 4,680 square feet. The first four are 2,509 square feet, Shaw said. The largest unit will be listed above $1 million, he said.

The units come with hardwood floors, two fireplaces, a water feature, a wet bar and contemporary finishes, along with views of the Cascade Mountains, said Shaw’s wife, Mary Ellen Shaw. She said brokers will be inspecting the units from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. .
