Early times for UO, OSU games

The Pac-12 Conference on Monday announced kickoff times for a number of early-season football games, including several involving Oregon and Oregon State.

Two of the Ducks’ first three games will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks: the Sept. 5 season opener at home against Eastern Washington at 5 p.m., and the Sept. 19 home game against Georgia State at 11 a.m.

Oregon’s first road game of the season, Sept. 12 against Michigan State, was previously announced to start at 5 p.m. and air nationally on ABC. Also previously announced was a Thursday game at Arizona State on Oct. 29, which will start at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Oregon State’s new era under first-year coach Gary Andersen begins on Friday, Sept. 4, at home against Weber State. That game will start at 5 p.m. and will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks, which will also carry the Beavers’ Sept. 19 home game against San Jose State, another 5 p.m. start.

The Civil War game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27, in Eugene and is set to kick off at either 12:30 or 1 p.m. and be televised on Fox or Fox Sports 1.
