Deaths of note from around the world:

Charcey Glenn, 73: Mother of NBA great Charles Barkley. Died Friday in her hometown of Leeds, Alabama.

Rick Ducommun, 62: Actor and comedian known for his role in the 1989 film “The ’Burbs.” Died June 12 in a hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, after suffering from complications due to diabetes.

Hugh Auchincloss III, 87: Stepbrother and lifelong friend of Jacqueline Kennedy. Died June 13 at his home in Hammersmith Farm, Rhode Island, of B-cell lymphoma.

James Lee Jr., 61: Pioneering deal-maker and among the most influential Wall Street investment bankers of his era. Died Wednesday in Darien, Connecticut, of a heart attack.

Nelson Doubleday Jr., 81: Shortly after taking over his family’s publishing business used it in 1980 to buy the lowly New York Mets and put the team on course to win the World Series in 1986. Died Tuesday at his home in Locust Valley, New York, from pneumonia.
