LOVING WIFE AND MOTHER

Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Father: Sam Kailas, a greek immigrant

Mother: Margaret McInnis Kallas, raised in Saskatchewan, Canada

Moved to Port Angeles, WA, when she was a little girl, maybe 4 years old.

Education: Straight A student through her school years, lettering in tennis and girls soccer as well. Travelled to Seattle, WA, to attend and graduate from business college after high school. She worked in the local Ford dealership during the war years, then moved to Seattle and worked in a post office there.

Family: While in Seattle she met and married Donald B Olsen, and became a homemaker. They had three children together. Don passed away in 1986.

She later married Donald A Walker, from Montesano Washington. They had 14 years together before he passed away in 2008. She then moved to Bend in 2009 to be closer to family.

Anne enjoyed playing tennis, reading, playing bridge, gardening, tole painting, cooking, baking, canning pickles, jellies and jams, daily crossword puzzles, and providing lovely holiday meals for her family.

Whether being a wife, mother, or bridge player, she was always going for the straight-As.

Survived by: Three children Dennis Beck Olsen, Port Angeles, WA; Karen Olsen Anderson, Bend , Oregon; Kristopher Lars Olsen (Becky Jones), Bend, Oregon. Five grandchildren: Mark Olsen McInnis, Andrew Beck Rader, Elizabeth Erin Olsen, Madeline Ellen Olsen, Grace Margaret Olsen Chapman. Three great-grandchildren: Attis, Jack, and Weston.
