BendBroadband announced it is moving its email service next week to a new, improved platform.

BendBroadband email users whose addresses end in chamberscable.com will have their service upgraded on Tuesday; users whose address ends in bendbroadband.com or bendcable.com will be upgraded on Wednesday, a company spokeswoman stated in an email.

The upgrade will take place in the early morning hours, said spokeswoman Krista Ledbetter.

The new platform will offer more reliability, a better webmail interface and a number of organizational tools, such as a calendar, she wrote. The upgrade replaces a system that plagued users with several outages in the past year.

Details about the change are available online at the BendBroadband website: www.bendbroadband.com/emailupgrade. The company also notified customers by email on Thursday, Ledbetter said.
