College Notes

Samantha Hefner, of Bend, was named to the dean’s list for the 2015 spring semester at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Ryan Covey, of Bend, has earned a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts. In his final year of school, Covey and two fellow students won an interdisciplinary design competition to design spaces and potential locations for a new A&AA building.

Logan Danek, a senior at Redmond Proficiency Academy, was selected as a semifinalist in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. Danek became eligible for the program based on his performance on the PSAT.
