EUGENE — The Oregon Ducks welcomed one of the highest-ranked men’s basketball recruiting classes in the Dana Altman era this week with the signing of three players to National Letters of Intent.
The signees include an in-state prospect, West Linn High School senior Payton Pritchard, a 6-foot-1-inch point guard. Pritchard was named the 2014 Class 6A player of the year after leading West Linn to the state title as a sophomore.
Also in the fold are Keith Smith, a 6-7 forward from Seattle’s Rainier Beach High School, and M.J. Cage, a 6-9 center from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.
Oregon’s recruiting class is ranked as high as 10th nationally by Scout.com.
