The Harney County Sheriff will meet this afternoon with the militants occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge to “discuss a peaceful resolution” this afternoon, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Dave Ward will meet with the group at the intersection of Narrows-Princeton Road and Lava Bed Road.
