FAN adds services at Prineville elementary schools

The Family Access Network has expanded to two Prineville elementary schools, the first time services have been available outside of Deschutes County.
FAN advocates have been assigned to work part-time at Barnes Butte and Crooked River elementary schools. Families with students at those schools can contact the advocates for assistance.

FAN has 25 advocates in 50 public schools and early childhood sites who help families access assistance programs for food, housing, utilities, health care and other basic needs.
Vanessa Nolen, the Crooked River FAN advocate, can be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 541-447-5189, extension 333.
Shari Burke, the Barnes Butte FAN advocate, can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 541-416-4150, extension 3603.
