BEND, OREGON – Betty Buseman, a long time resident of Bend, died on Friday, May 20, 2016,, at St. Charles Hospital following complications of the lungs and heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Thomas, and her three children, Kimberley Brickley, Kevin Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas along with four grandsons, Jacob Buda, Tyler Brickley, Colton Brickley, and Gabriel Genovese; her son, Raymond J. Buseman Jr., and daughter-in-law, Valerie have two children, Darren and his wife, Elizabeth Buseman, and Brian and his wife, Vanessa Buseman, along with two grandchildren, Sophie and Alexander. They live in New Jersey.

Betty is also survived by her sister and brother-in- law, Barbara and Bill Hampton, their two sons, Brett Hampton and his wife, Tina, and Brian Hampton and his wife, Linda. Her nieces are Cory, Natalie, Stephanie, and Stacie. All reside in California.

Betty, an accountant, was married to Lt. Col. Raymond J. Buseman Sr. They completed military life at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM before retiring, first in Pinetop, AZ, and then in Bend, OR.
