Ready to get Stoopid, Bend? Reggae-rock band Slightly Stoopid, from Ocean Beach, California, invades Les Schwab Amphitheater on Saturday with its Return of the Red Eye summer tour (probably not named for an overnight flight, but just a guess). Along with the main attraction, whose mix of reggae, funk, metal and hip-hop can be heard on its eighth studio album “Meanwhile … Back at the Lab,” the tour also features Virginia neo-reggae group SOJA and up-and-coming hip-hop stars Zion I, The Grouch and Eligh. This is another band where the live show trumps the recording — subtle hint, Central Oregon reggae fans.
Slightly Stoopid, with SOJA, Zion I, The Grouch, Eligh: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, doors at 4:30 p.m.; $35 plus fees; Les Schwab Amphitheater, 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Drive, Bend; www.bendconcerts.com or 541-312-8510.
