Seattle musician Meagan Grandall offers a glimpse into her mind with Lemolo, and it’s a strange, dark place. But it’s also full of beauty, as evidenced by the dream-pop project’s second album, “Red Right Return,” which boils over with impressive walls of sound, emotionally charged melodies and an ethereal presence that remains long after the album stops playing. Live, Grandall and drummer Adrian Centoni manage to create a sound just as large. Since forming in 2009, the group has won praise from Seattle Magazine and KEXP 90.3 FM. Grandall and Centoni hit The Astro Lounge on Sunday night, with a few other surprises planned.
Lemolo plus guests: 8:30 p.m. Sunday; $10 plus fees in advance, $12 at the door; The Astro Lounge, 939 NW Bond St., Bend; redlightpro.com, astroloungebend.com or 541-388-0166.
