Born May 30, 1965, in Eugene, Oregon, to parents Charles Robert and Beverley Williams, Allena passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on July 20, 2016.
Allena grew up in Eugene, where she graduated from South Eugene High School in 1983, after which she went to Lane Community College and attended there until 1985.
She met her sweetheart Drew (Andy) Anker, and they were married in 1987 at the Eugene Foursquare Church by the late Roy Hicks Jr. They had two incredible children, Hayden (son) and Aleah (daughter). Allena’s work history included working at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene and in Bend, Oregon. She later went to work at the Redmond School District, after which she worked at Looking Glass Pathways, a program for youth, and was a counselor for youth at New Leaf Academy in Bend.
Some of her many hobbies included water skiing, camping, snow skiing, traveling, and working with youth. Her most cherished life accomplishments always had something to do with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Allena enjoyed the time that she spent on the streets preaching the gospel, and she was involved in the church in any way she could be. She and Drew were youth directors at Word of Victory Church in Redmond, Oregon, for several years. Allena and Drew were both ordained ministers though Solutions/Christ for the Nations Ministries. Allena always had a passion for lost souls and was a passionate and loving street minister. Allena also graduated from three years of study under Mark T. Barkley’s Supernatural Ministry Training Institute.
Allena’s survivors include her husband of 29 years, Drew Anker; daughter Aleah Anker (her favorite daughter) and son Hayden Anker (her favorite son); her mother, stepfather, and stepmother; and one sister, five brothers, and their families.
