Here in death lies a warrior and disabled Veteran of the 1960s, who fought many battles in life, always a man of honesty and integrity.

Jim Moyer, 70, of Bend, Oregon, lost his final battle on earth to cancer, with his wife of 49 years, and his son by his side, but he won the ultimate prize, to be with Jesus in God’s heavenly home.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Susan “Sue” Elaine Moyer; his son, Jason Allen Moyer and wife Irina Moyer; three grandchildren, Dean Moyer, age 12, Leila Moyer, age 8, and Kristina Moyer, age 16 weeks; two sisters, Maxine Moyer and Phyllis (George) Beener; brother, Jerry (Alice) Moyer; and a half-brother, Harold (Joy) Moyer. As well as his extended family and beloved friends.

Preceding him, a baby daughter, Deanne Lee Moyer. age 26 days; his mother, Ethel Moyer; a sister, Kathleen White; and a half-sister, Leona Cole.

He was dearly loved in life and will be greatly missed by many.
