Taste of Asia — Chef Joe Kim of 5 Fusion & Sushi Bar has announced plans to open a new casual, west-side Asian restaurant by mid-November. The moderately priced cafe, serving ramen bowls and a variety of small, Asian-influenced plates, will be called Ajii, the Japanese word for “taste.” It will be located in the former Pilot Butte Drive-In space near Safeway.
