Awbrey Glen hires superintendent — Awbrey Glen Golf Club in Bend has hired Kyle Watt as its new golf course superintendent, the club announced last week. Watt, a 36-year-old from Vancouver, Washington, joins Awbrey Glen after serving as superintendent at the Tom Fazio Championship Course at Bend’s Pronghorn Club since 2007. A graduate of Central Oregon Community College and Washington State University, Watt will replace the only superintendent Awbrey Glen has known, Doug Feher, who is retiring at the end of the year.
