Asian noodle house — Ajii Asian Kitchen, the newest venture from 5 Fusion chef-owner Joe Kim, opens Friday on Bend’s west side. “Ajii” is Japanese for “taste,” and this casual cafe will serve a pan-Asian selection of ramen dishes and rice bowls priced $10 to $14. Wine un-pairing dinner — Chef Tim Garling’s Jackalope Grill will welcome wine master Tim Hanni to a Value Wine “Un-Pairing” Dinner at 6 p.m. on Dec. 6.
