Cliff Barrows, 93: A farmer’s son and ordained Baptist minister who for more than 70 years was the musical voice and program manager of the Rev. Billy Graham’s global Christian evangelistic crusades. Died Nov. 15 in Pineville, North Carolina.
Paul Sylbert, 88: An Oscar-winning production designer who created the look of films as various as Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Wrong Man,” Robert Benton’s “Kramer vs. Kramer” and Warren Beatty’s “Heaven Can Wait.” Died Nov. 19 at his home in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
Ron Glass, 71: A prolific character actor best known for his role as Detective Ron Harris, the handsome, good-natured cop in the long-running comedy series “Barney Miller.” Died Friday of respiratory failure.
