Since forming in 2012, Portland’s instrumental livetronica trio Yak Attack has mixed nuanced, live instrumentation with electronic loops and breakbeat rhythms in performances that have drawn jam-heads and ravers alike. Those not in the know should check out last year’s live album “Live Yak: Best of the Goodfoot,” a set of sprawling performances (one song pushes the 20-minute mark) taken from recordings of the band’s June 2016 residency at its most played-at hometown venue, the Goodfoot Pub & Lounge. But that’s hardly necessary in Central Oregon, where the Yaks attack frequently — at least five performances in 2016 alone. With a new studio album on the way this year, Yak Attack will surely be back plenty more. In fact, the band returns for two sets at the Domino Room on Saturday, with Cascadia DJ/producer Paranome opening and performing between sets.

Yak Attack, with Paranome: 9 p.m. Saturday, doors open at 8 p.m.; $12 plus fees in advance, $15 at the door; Domino Room, 51 NW Greenwood Ave., Bend; parallel44presents.com or 541-408-4329.
