High Desert Chamber Music recently received two grants: a $2,500 grant from the Autzen Foundation, and a $1,000 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation. This marks the fourth year the music education nonprofit received a grant from the Autzen Foundation, which funds programming focused on the arts, culture and social services. This is the third year it’s received a Pacific Power Foundation, which supports the growth and vitality of communities.

“These awards help make possible our expanded educational outreach offerings including this season’s Master Class with Martin Chalifour, principal concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. I feel very fortunate to be able to provide extraordinary opportunities such as these here in Central Oregon,” said HDCM founder and executive director Isabelle Senger.
